The Bear Outdoor > Spain > Pyrenees > Rey Fernando Mountain Bike Route self-guided

The Rey Fernando mountain bike self-guided route through the Pre-Pyrenees is probably one of the most beautiful mountain bike routes in Spain. Between desert landscapes, mountains with pine and oak forests and castles and medieval villages we will cycle the 217 kilometers and more than 5,000 meters of positive elevation gain in 4 days.

We will leave Uncastillo in the province of Zaragoza, declared a Historic-Artistic complex where we can find one of the most important monumental complexes in Aragon. Our Rey Fernando Mountain Bike route self-guided  will take us through the towns of Sos del Rey Católico, Pintanos and Biel to finish in Uncastillo. The self-guided route will have an average distance of 60 kilometers per stage, which will allow us to enjoy the landscapes that we will encounter. In addition, we will take care of the transfer of the luggage so that we only have to worry about pedaling.

The Rey Fernando Mountain Bike Route will climb to the Alto del Despogido de Peña. Another of our trails will be discovered by Petilla, the place where Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal was born. The Rey Fernando route is made up of approximately 80% of the forest track, 10% of the trail and finally another 10% of asphalt. These tracks will also take us to places such as the Ermita de la Magdalena, the top of Santo Domingo at 1,520 meters or the Puy Moné at 1,300 meters from where we will have spectacular views of the Pyrenees and the Moncayo massif.
